I don't know about you, but I tend to hoard sticky notes on my desk.
Not anymore! Google Keep helps me stay more organized and it is portable!
Something every person struggles with is getting work done and staying organized. We were tasked with making a change or new system of organization. I have always been a very organized person and over the last six years of teaching, I have done my best to perfect that system.
Google Keep has so many wonderful features. My favorites being that you can color code, pin tasks, and create checklists. Checklists are perfect for tasks that have multiple tasks. Instead of cluttering up the screen with notes instead they are grouped on one note and able to check each task off. I also enjoy the ability to label each note by topic. This feature enables me to have a separate screen for school, work, and home. The final feature that I love is the archive tab to view my old tasks or copy them to reuse them.
Currently, I house my weekly to do list on google keep along with my other tasks.
As the week progresses I know exactly what tasks I need to complete every day. As I complete each task I check the box off. If I don't get to the task I know what I need to do first thing the following day. I love the fact I can uncheck the boxes at the end of the week and reuse over and over. This has been a life changer in keeping me answering emails and not ending the week with a pile of things to get done.
Do you have a specific way to keep track of your to-dos? Let me know in the comments below.
